Irfhan Rawji has been a strategic consultant, public company senior executive and investor for over 15 years. Irfhan holds an MBA with High Honors from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar and a BCom, Finance, with High Honours from the University of British Columbia where he was a Wesbrook Scholar.
Keith Martin, Treasurer and Board Member
Keith Martin has worked in politics in Ireland and Europe, as well as in the international development space in both Afghanistan and central Africa. Currently, Keith is a Partner at McKinsey & Company and holds a BSc from the Waterford Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Dan Barak, Secretary and Board Member
Dan Barak is an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company's Toronto office. He specializes in Private Equity work and has served clients across tech, industrials, financial and consumer topics. Prior to joining McKinsey, Dan completed a BCom (Hon.) at the University of British Columbia and served as an officer in the Israeli Navy.
Paola Blendl, Privacy Officer and Board Member
Paola has a BCom (Hon.) from UBC and started her career at Accenture working on strategy consulting projects across multiple industries and functions in Toronto and Calgary. She was there for four and a half years, starting out as an Analyst and leaving as an Engagement Manager. Since then, Paola has been with the Strategy and Finance Team at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, providing strategic and operational support to Ministries of Health in Southeast Asia, Central America, and Southern Africa in order to eliminate malaria by 2030.
Jonathan Lawrence, Board Member
Jonathan Lawrence is the Vice President of Developments and head of the New York office for The Luxus Group, an Alberta-based company. Luxus specializes in hospitality and resort residential developments, with projects in North America and Italy. Jonathan previously worked as a Case Team Leader in the Toronto office of Bain & Company. Jonathan completed a BSc from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
Mark Chen, Head Facilitator
Mark Chen is currently the Manager of the Supply Chain Analytics Group at Mountain Equipment Coop where his team works to optimise the flow of inventory from vendor to customer. Prior to joining MEC, he was a Consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. Mark holds a PhD in Biochemistry from MIT and an MBA from UBC Sauder where he co-founded PeerLoop, a tool to help students and teams build a stronger feedback culture.
Betty Tang, Co-Facilitator
Betty is an MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management. Previously, she worked at McKinsey & Company and A.T. Kearney serving clients across industries including tech, telco, financial services, industrials, agriculture, and consumer. She holds a BComm (Hon.) in Accounting and Sustainability from the University of British Columbia.
